Coffee: white with no sugar, thanks.
I’m quite happy to eat cereal at all times of the day.
I wasn’t scared of spiders until I moved to Australia.
My first dog was a Labrador called Porka. I wouldn’t have called a dog Porka if I’d anticipated yelling it out across parks and so on. Our new dog has a much more sensible name.
As much as I like a tidy house, I haven’t been able to convince myself that housework is not a complete waste of time.
I have lived in Yokohama, London and Melbourne so I know, for sure, that I am not a big city person.
I have a low tolerance for shopping: one hour tops.
I’m happy to eat the same thing all week, except for banana sandwiches, which was my student staple. I still can’t face bananas.
I think high-heeled shoes are ridiculous. Ridiculously uncomfortable. Men are far more sensible.
My first job was checkout chick at Pak n’ Save. I learned that one in ten customers is awful, and that many people are stuck doing very unpleasant jobs for most of their working lives.
I hate wasting food, especially meat. More so, after visiting poor countries in Africa.

Hi Lynley
I like your blog. Am I missing the email feed? the RSS feeds get lost on my Google page. Thanks!
Thanks!
I don’t know if you have subscribed to the RSS feeds, but even if you have you won’t get all my updates because I’m in the (bad) habit of backdating my blog posts. I do this because I tend to have ten drafts on the go at once, which I mull over during the course of a week, or month, then I sit down when I get a good few hours and finish them off at once. I backdate because I hate to do infodumps on my nano audience of subscribers. Upshot is, I believe subscribers only get the ones I don’t backdate, and possibly from the one day before, but I haven’t worked it out myself, to be honest. So sorry for that. I think the only way round it is to visit my blog often!
I’d offer you cake, only I don’t think it can be squished down internet holes.
Stace
OK. I’ll do the RSS, but I fear I will lose track of you. I only check those feeds monthly. I love the connections you make.
Hehe. No worries about the cake. I’m not big on sugar.
